TOP musicians will be performing at The King’s Head this weekend as the riverside venue presents two concerts to support the Upton Folk Festival.
On Saturday (May 2) at 1pm the venue welcomes one of Canada’s top folk musicians Sarah MacDougall, whose new album “Across the Atlantic” has been receiving rave reviews.
Later on, at 8pm, the King’s Head welcomes Mike Silver, one of England’s foremost folk singers.
Mike has been an audience favourite for more than 30 years and his new album “How Many Rivers” has drawn comparisons to James Taylor and Sting.
Both performers will be supported by one of the hottest new acts around, The Carrivick Sisters.
Tickets for both concerts are available from The King’s Head, priced £4 for for Sarah MacDougall and £8 for Mike Silver.
See today’s Malvern Gazette for a full preview of the Upton Folk Festival.
