A FILM crew from the BBC's Countryfile show has been ranging over the Malvern Hills this week for a show which will be transmitted this Sunday, May 3.
Among the people they interviewed was Rob Havard of Malvern Hills Conservators, who took them to see the pied flycatcher nesting box scheme on Midsummer Hill and the Mill Pond on Castlemorton Common.
The TV team, led by presenter Matt Baker, also found out how the Malvern Hills have made their mark on the world stage, with Malvern water drunk around the world, the landscape inspiring Elgar's music, and nearby Colwall being the birthplace of women's cricket.
Countryfile will be transmitted on BBC 1 at 7.30pm.
