LINK Nurseries in Powick is holding its Bank Holiday plant sales from 9am to 4pm on both May 5 (this coming Monday) and May 25 this year.
The nursery is supporting the government’s Grow to Eat campaign but they also say Grow to Enjoy! with a wide range of plants and displays available to buy.
Link Nurseries provides people who have experienced mental illness with the opportunity to undertake purposeful horticultural work in a realistic work environment. They have been busy getting flower and vegetable plants ready for the Bank Holiday sales and preparing hanging baskets and tubs.
A wide range of flowers will be available, including antirrhinum, bacopia, begonia, clematis, cordyline, dahlia, dianthus, fuchsia, gazania, geranium, hebe, honeysuckle, ivy, lavender, lobelia, marigold, nemesia, petunia, and verbena.
There will also be brussel sprouts, cabbages, courgettes, cucumbers, lettuce, marrows, peppers, strawberry and tomato plants available along with a range of herbs.
Link Nurseries is at Hamilton Close, off Hospital Lane, Powick, WR2 4NH and they are looking forward to welcoming customers old and new.
