Hanley Swan continued their rough start to the season with a 7-2 hammering to Tewkesbury Town Saturday Reserves at home.
On a sunny Saturday (October 26) afternoon, the teams clashed in the Cheltenham Association League at the Hanley Swan Playing Fields.
The hosts started strong, scoring two goals within two minutes.

However, Tewkesbury quickly responded, dominating the game and spending much of the first half in Hanley’s half.
Tewkesbury struck four times before the break, heading in at halftime with a score of 4-2.
During the first half, the referee issued several cautions, including to Tewkesbury’s touchline coach.
The second half was calmer, but Tewkesbury continued their scoring spree, adding three more goals to finish the match with a total of seven.
The hosts had a few near misses but could not find the back of the net again.
This defeat leaves Hanley Swan with seven points from a possible 18, placing them seventh in the league table.
Their next home match is on Saturday (November 2) with a kickoff time of 2pm at the Hanley Swan Playing Fields.
