A trophy is within Malvern Mavericks' grasp after overcoming top-of-the-table rivals Worcester Bears 88-75.
Friday's (April 19) result at MSJ Sports Hall sees Mavericks advance to the Gloucestershire Basketball Post-Christmas division final.
The game, initially closely contested, saw the Mavericks pull ahead in the second half, outscoring the Bears in the final quarter.

This victory marks a turnaround in the teams' recent history, as the Mavericks had suffered two previous defeats to the Bears this season.
Despite missed opportunities on both sides at crucial moments, the Mavericks managed to secure the lead and maintain their momentum.
Their triumph sees them propelled to the final, which is set to take place on Sunday, May 12 at Cheltenham Leisure Centre.
