Pippa Buxton, a former pupil at Wells House School, has gained a place at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Pippa, who grew up in West Malvern and has a degree in music from Birmingham University, will be studying music theatre.
While studying in Birmingham, Pippa met fellow soprano Ellie Laugharne and a singing partnership was born.
The pair will be performing at the Cradley Church Flower Festival tomorrow (Saturday).
The concert is in Cradley churchyard and people are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy a glass of bubbly' with strawberries and cream. The sopranos will be singing Songs of the Stage and the recital will also include music from the Galitzin String Quartet.
The recital begins at 7.15pm and tickets cost £12 from Cradley Post Office.
