MALVERN Library should bring back the notice board in its entrance hall, says a member of one local charity.
Until the library was refurbished in 2006, there used to be a long noticeboard in the foyer which was much used by clubs and societies to put up leaflets advertising meetings and other events.
But when the refurbished library was opened the noticeboard had vanished, to be replaced by a mural. A replacement, consisting of a number of hinged boards, is inside the library's main room.
But Ann Somers, of Malvern Friends of Childline, said the replacement is not good enough, that not enough people know it is there and the notices cannot be read as easily.
She called for anyone who thinks the same to let library staff know.
