Boys' Brigade members are competing in a national band championship at Stoke-on-Trent.
MEMBERS of the 1st Malvern Company Boys' Brigade will be travelling to Stoke-on-Trent this Sunday, June 3, to take part in the brigade's national band championship.
Last year, the band won a special prize, the Potter Trophy for newcomers, after making a good showing in the novice class.
Company member Chris Styles said: "Last year was the first time we've entered the competition for some years, so we were very pleased to win in our class.
"We're practising hard and hope to win."
