AN Edwardian garden party will take place in Priory Park, Malvern, tomorrow (Saturday) as part of celebrations for Elgar's 150th birthday.
Members of the public are encouraged to enter the spirit of the day by wearing Edwardian costume. Temporary moustaches will be available on the day.
The celebrations begin with a parade of people involved at 12.30pm, which will go from the library, along Graham Road, past the theatre and into the park.
Competitions for best natural moustache, best-dressed Edwardian lady and the best Elgar look-alike will be held.
Participants in Edwardian dress will include the Hereford section of The Veteran-Cycle Club, the Morgan Three-Wheeler Club, and the Malvern Hills & District Brass Band. Call the Tourist Information Centre on 01684 892289 for further information.
