A VINTAGE jet fighter, the Gloster Meteor, was spotted flying over Malvern this week by Gazette reader Donald McCarry. Mr McCarry saw the aircraft, Britain's first jet fighter in service, flying over the town at about 2.30pm on Tuesday, May 30.
The sighting follows the previous week's overflight of the town by a World War II Lancaster bomber belonging to the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
