MATHON Court is the setting for West Malvern Cricket Club's Jazz at the Court fundraising event later this month, which is being staged again by popular request.
The first Jazz at the Court event was held two years ago, with the kind permission of Dr Colin Phipps, the owner of Mathon Court.
It proved such a success that another one was held last year, and now a third has been arranged for Saturday, June 16.
Val Blackbourne, one of the organisers, said: "As soon as you said you're from the cricket club, people would ask when we were going to have another jazz night at the Court, so it really is back by popular demand."
This year the music is being provided by Trevor Emeny and his big band Cresendo. Trevor has been one of the leading lights of the Mildlands jazz scene for decades, and has worked with Tony Bennett and Sarah Vaughan, among others.
Thre will be a bar and barbecue for the evening, which starts at 7.30pm, and people are welcome to bring their own picnics, said Mrs Blackbourne.
The event is being held to raise money for upkeep of the club's ground. Tickets (£10) are available from Mr and Mrs Blackbourne on 01684 564893 or from the Brewers Arms in West Malvern.
