KEVIN Bayliss, aged 43, of Elgar Avenue, Malvern, was jailed for 28 days by Worcester magistrates for shouting racist abuse at a fast-food worker and telling a female passer-buy to "show us your white knickers".

The court heard Bayliss was seen sitting on the pavement outside Domino's Pizza in Malvern Link on the afternoon of Thursday, March 29, shouting at passers-by. When a Domino's workers told him to leave, Bayliss swore at him and racially abused him.

Police were called and arrested Bayliss, who said he had been drinking vodka since 9am that day. Bayliss admitted racially-aggravated disorderly behaviour and breaching a criminal anti-social behaviour order (Crasbo). The court heard he has 38 previous convictions.

Mark Newton, for Bayliss, said: "There is nothing in his record to show he is a racist; the witness accounts say he was very drunk on the day in question."
