There were words of praise for the Spring Gardening Show from TV gardeners Joe Swift and Chris Beardshaw.
Mr Swift, a presenter on the BBC's Gardener's World programme, said: "The show celebrates the splendours of spring and the rich gardening heritage of this part of the country.
"It's got everything, gold medal-winning gardens and growers, a wonderful setting, great plants. What more could you ask?"
Chris Beardshaw, who won best in show and an RHS gold medal for his Three Counties show garden, said: "I love coming to Malvern. It's a very special show for me because this is where I grew up. It's my local show and for me it means spring has officially started."
Gardener's World presenter Rachel De Thame said: "Malvern is just the perfect setting for a spring show."
Other gardening celebrities at this year's show included Diarmuid Gavin, James Alexander-Sinclair, Bunny Guiness and Roddy Llewellyn.
