SCOUTS from Malvern and Ledbury will hold an adventure-packed Centenary Camp as part of a nationwide series of events to celebrate 100 years of Scouting that will see more than 200,000 Scouts from across the UK simultaneously sleep under canvas.
The camps will last from one to three nights and it is expected that young people from across the UK will spend a total of half a million nights away from home in the largest simultaneous camping activity ever undertaken by the Scout Association.
More than 300 young people aged from six to 25 will be given the opportunity to experience a range of exciting activities at the Malverns District camp.
Scouts in the Malvern district will be holding their Centenary Camp over the weekend of May 25-27 at Warren Oak, the district Scout camp site, just outside Ledbury. For more information call 01886 832337.
