THERE'S probably no better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than to get out into the countryside for a refreshing walk.
With this in mind, author Roger Noyce has compiled a book titled Pocket Pub Walks in Worcestershire and The Malverns.
It contains 15 circular routes varying in length from three-six miles in a handy-sized format.
Pubs listed include The Nelson Inn, in Suckley, and The Malvern Hills Hotel, at British Camp.
In addition to the clearly numbered route instructions, each walk section also includes details of distance and terrain, information on how to get to the start place and a recommended pub.
The book is published by Countryside Books at £5.99 and available from all local booksellers or direct from the publishers on www. countrysidebooks. co.uk.
