CLOSE friends are decorating their bras and lacing up their walking boots to raise valuable funds for charity.
Jo Charles, Katie Finch and Sarah Naulls, from Welland, are busily training to complete two sponsored walks in three weeks.
They will take part in the Playtex Moon Walk, in London's Hyde Park, on Saturday, May 19, then join the St Richard's Hospice Worcestershire Way Challenge, on Friday, June 8.
Niki Green, from Malvern, will join the trio for the Moon Walk, a 26 mile jaunt through London, starting at Midnight, in aid of breast cancer research.
The four will join more than 15,000 other women, all wearing decorated bras over their t-shirts, and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the popular and unique event.
Jo Charles said: "We're doing this walk because all of our lives have been touched by cancer in some way - whether it is friends or relatives who have suffered with it.
"I'm really looking forward to it, I think it will be very emotional, but there will be a really good atmosphere."
After a brief break to rest their tired feet, the three women will don their boots again to take part in the 31-mile walk for St Richard's, from Bewdley to Malvern.
"St Richard's does a lot of valuable work in the community, and we wanted to support a local charity," said Jo.
"We've been training since just before Christmas, and we're all looking forward to it."
