THE Flower Guild at Holy Trinity Church is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special festival called 25 Blooming Years.
The event is from Friday to Sunday, May 18-20. The theme is wedding anniversaries.
The church service on the Sunday includes a renewal of marriage vows. Ladies are invited to wear hats and gentleman to wear their Sunday best and sport buttonholes, On Saturday, May 19, at 7.30pm, Malvern Male Voice Choir will be giving a concert in the church. The choir is also celebrating an anniversary this year, 85 years of singing.
The concert is called 85 Vocal Years and music will include compositions by Elgar, notably some pieces he wrote while he lived in the Parish of Holy Trinity between 1891-1899.
Tickets for the concert are £6 for adults, £3 for children, or a family ticket (two adults and two children) for £15. Tickets will be available on the door.
The weekend will end with Holy Trinity choir giving a festival choral evensong starting at 6.30pm. For more information, contact Pat Hemmingway on 01684 893379.
