A NEW Neighbourhood Watch website is being set up to give residents more information about their area and who they can contact to report crimes.
Finishing touches are being added to the site which contains detailed maps, crime statistics and useful contact numbers. It also tells residents who their local police and community support officers are, with messages and details of recent incidents, or suspicious vehicles.
Information about link schemes, including Farm Watch, Horse Watch, Pub watch and Shop Watch, are also included. When complete, the site will be accessed through the Malvern Hills District Council web page, and will have links to the police website.
Paul Leopold, chairman of the local Police Community Consultative Group, said he hoped the site would be useful to residents.
