A NEW service for adults with a physical disability or sensory impairment is being launched in Malvern.
Connect (Malvern) will be based at the Malvern Room in the library on Graham Road.
It will provide a weekly drop-in session where people with disabilities will be able to socialise and where they will have access to support and information. Refreshments will also be available.
The sessions will run every Tuesday between 11am and 2pm from May 22.
It has been set up by Worcestershire County Council. Helen Troth, team leader, said: "This is an exciting new venture and we are very much looking forward to developing this service."
Anyone interested in finding out more about the service should either contact Julie Harford on 01386 553889, or merely drop-in on a Tuesday.
A special promotion day showing off the work of Connect will take place this Tuesday (May 15), at the library between 11am and 2pm.
