TOP chef James Garth will help The Co-operative cause a stir at the launch of its £800,000 new look store on Worcester Road, Malvern Link, tomorrow (Saturday).
While customers had a preview of the store yesterday, when it reopened following an extensive refurbishment, Saturday is the big launch.
The fun kicks off at 10am with the ribbon cutting ceremony performed by James, who is head chef at the Seasons Restaurant at Colwall Park and whose restaurant won the Birmingham Evening Mail Restaurant of the Year award. It has also been featured in the Michelin and Good Food guides.
Following the ribbon cutting, customers will be treated to canapés and a cookery demonstration by James.
The store is only the third of a new generation of Co-operative stores nationally.
