TWO members of Andrew Slater Hairdressing in Malvern will be packing their suitcases this month as the salon has been awarded two places at an international convention in Turkey.
They will be attending the Matrix Overseas Customer Business Conference in Antalya, after Andrew Slater achieved a 15 per cent overall growth in sales of Matrix haircare products throughout 2011.
Every two years, Matrix sets its professional salons spend objectives to win places to attend its overseas conference.
Managing director Andrew Slater said: “In a year in which many hair salons have been challenged, we are delighted we have continued to see the business grow and were able to meet Matrix’s spend objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m pleased to say after placing the 18 staff names into a hat, Alison Crump and Lorraine Roberts will be attending the conference.”
The conference will take place on October 28- 30 and will host a range of artistic sessions, cutting master classes, artistic shows and business presentations.
