A SOFA surfer has been banned from entering Powick or Malvern before he stands trial later this year on charges of theft and burglary.
Steven Scarratt, of no fixed abode, will return to Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 20, after being released on conditional bail in relation to the incidents in August and September.
On Friday, August 31, he is accused of stealing five electrical items to the value of £475 and £10 in cash belonging to Dayna Willems and Amanda Coleman while staying at a property in Malvern.
Then on Monday, September 3 he allegedly entered a caravan owned by his parents and stole a number of electrical items to the value of £300.
As well as not being allowed to go to Powick or Malvern, Scarratt must reside at a friend’s in Worcester and not contact his parents or Ms Willems and Ms Coleman.
