A RECENT open day and fun dog show at the Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelters at Newland, near Malvern, was a great success, say organisers.
The sun shone and lots of families made a day of it.
There was something for everyone, with music from the Pontiacs, face painting, a cheeky dog treasure hunt, colouring and origami for the children and lots of stalls to wander around.
There were more than 200 entries for the fun dog show, with the handsomest dog, best rescue dog and best sausage-catcher classes proving the most popular.
The event raised £2,883.
