I WOULD like to thank everyone who was involved with the Jubilee Ball held at The Abbey Hotel on Friday, 20 July.
My thanks go to the organising committee who planned the event, to the sponsors Waitrose, Malvern Instruments, Banner Homes, Malvern Theatres, Ready Rent and Kendeen, to the staff of Malvern Town Council, and finally to my wife who put in many hours of work to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Jubilee Ball was a great success and raised a total of £2,452.
The proceeds have been divided between the two chosen charities for this event, meaning that Acorns Children’s Hospice and Malvern Community Action will both receive £1,226.
COUNCILLOR IAN HOPWOOD Mayor of Malvern
