Many of the village activities take place in the Memorial Village Hall on the Ledbury Road that runs through the upper part of the village.
Much has been done to beautify this location and further efforts to titivate the village include the Diamond Jubilee initiative to plant native daffodils along the roadsides and open spaces of the village.
David Darwood, in charge of the project, says that the aim is “to make the village look attractive as well as attracting wild life”.
