REDMARLEY has had a very busy September with many events taking place.
The evening of the Recorder Concert on September 15 in Redmarley Church was enjoyed by about 80 people.
The recorders were fascinating to see as the size and tone varied so much.
The variety of music was much appreciated as were the interval refreshments.
On September 20 a trip was organized by the senior citizens to The National Memorial Arboretum.
The group had a welcome talk in the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness and an introduction to the National Memorial.
This was followed by an hour long land train tour including a short meander along the River Tame. The afternoon ended with afternoon tea. The trip was much enjoyed.
On September 22 a Dine and Disco was held in the Village Hall. The excellent meal and disco was much enjoyed by all those who went.
