ST Joseph’s Church, in Newtown Road, Malvern, is the venue for this year’s St Richard’s Hospice thanksgiving service, taking place on Sunday, October 7.
The service offers an opportunity for patients, families, friends, volunteers and staff, to celebrate the hospice’s work.
David Knight, who leads the hospice’s chaplaincy team, said: “St Richard’s is very special to many people in many ways and we will be offering thanks for the generosity of our local community in enabling us to provide such a unique place of care for our patients and in helping us to support their families and carers.
“The occasion will be designed so that members of any church will feel fully included. We will be remembering and praying for the whole hospice, staff, governors, friends and supporters, patients and families.”
The service will be held as part of the main morning mass at 10.30am.
