MIDLANDS Air Ambulance is gearing up for its annual fundraising week when people from across the county will be encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero.
The National Air Ambulance Week runs from September 24 to 30 and people from across Worcestershire will help raise money for the charity by either donating some cash or being sponsored to spend the day as a superhero.
Hanna Sebright, CEO of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Midlands Air Ambulance needs to raise £6.5million every year and receives no government or national lottery funding.
That’s why we think our real heroes are our supporters, so we’re asking you to put some fun into your fundraising.”
Sponsorship forms are available online at midlandsairambulance.
com and airbase visits will be offered to the most creative fundraisers.
