PARALYMPICS medallist Mel Clarke, who trained for the games at Malvern’s Splash Leisure Centre, returned on Monday to thank the staff who assisted her. Mel won a silver in ladies compound archery. She was greeted at the Splash by Coun David Hughes, leader of Malvern Hills District Council , which owns the centre. Mel lives on St John’s, Worcester.
