BUDDING singers of all ages and abilities are being invited to join Powick Community Choir.
The choir, which already has a 70- strong membership, is seeking new faces at the start of the new term.
Rehearsals are held at Powick Parish Hall every Sunday, starting from this week, from 4.30pm to 6pm. They will start at 5pm this Sunday.
People can also take part in choral workshops on Thursdays from 7.30pm at Callow End CE Primary School, starting next week, if they are unable to attend Sunday rehearsals.
Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome and there are no auditions. The choir would particularly like to hear from male singers.
The choir is currently working towards a Last Night of the Promsstyle concert at the parish hall in October and a performance at Stanbrook Abbey, Callow End.
However, people are also welcome to just attend rehearsals, which are open to anyone across the county and beyond.
Membership costs £25 each term and the workshops cost £3 per session.
