THERE was a wealth of drama at Malvern’s Coach House Theatre when it hosted a festival of theatre during the last four weeks.
And the season culminated with a performance of Casting by Malvern’s own dramatist Nick Wilks. When the play opened on Tuesday, August 28, two of the audience members were Meg Robinson and Anne Martin, who got free tickets thanks to winning a raffle.
Anna Wishart of Malvern Theatre Players, which runs the theatre, said: “The tickets were sold in our cafe during the last few weeks, and the winner was Maria Fordham, who lives in Kent. She couldn’t make it, so she passed her tickets on to her sister Mrs Robinson, who lives in Malvern.”
Proceeds will go towards Nick’s new play Radiodram in 2013.
