DEVELOPERS have taken steps to improve the position of ‘dangerous’ razor wire placed along a hedgerow in Malvern.
The five metres of wire has been moved back away from the pavement outside the building site in Abbey Road.
There have also been two trellis panels placed across the razor wire where it could not be pulled back.
Resident Chris Harris, of Holywell Road, said it was an eyesore. He added: “I have no doubt that they have materials that they wouldn’t want to get pinched but it is just inappropriate.”
Malvern Hills District Council had sent members of its street scene team out to talk to the land-owner.
A complaint had been made to the police about the wire from a member of the public.
