A ONE-man blues sensation has formed a super group for a one-off show next week.
Gwyn Ashton comes to the Marr’s Bar in Worcester’s Pierpont Street on Friday, September 14, where he will team up with Robbie Blunt and Mark Stanway.
Both are ex-members of Robert Plant’s Honeydrippers and played on Ashton’s Radiogram album which is set for release on Monday, October 22.
Blunt wrote Plant’s 80s hit, Big Log, and appeared on three of Plant’s gold albums from that era, while Stanway plays with Magnum and also recorded with Grand Slam – Phil Lynott’s post-Thin Lizzy project.
Tickets are £5 in advance or £7 on the door.
