OUTER Limits enjoyed a fantastic day out at Wye Valley Centre, near Ross-on-Wye last Saturday.
The weather was brilliant, it must have been one of the best Saturdays this summer.
The group visited the Butterfly Farm, where they saw many beautiful butterflies of many different colours.
Then it was time for a picnic on the grass, prepared by the Moss family. This was followed by a game of crazy golf and a visit to the Amazing Hedge Puzzle.
There was much laughter heard from the group as they played tag in this amazing maze!
Refreshed with ice-cream, we then visited St Dubricius Church, set beside the side of the river Wye.
Finally, we visited the Butterfly Shop where we were able to buy souvenirs and gifts to remind us of this lovely day.
Annie has now returned from Tanzania and everyone is invited to Longdon vicarage on Sunday at 3pm when she will be sharing some of her adventures with us.
Refreshments will be provided. This is a chance for Annie to thank everyone who supported her. She could not have done it without your help.
On Tuesday, St Mary’s Church PCC meets at the Old School House at 7.30pm.
There are still a few places left for the trip to London on Saturday, September 15.
If you are interested in the trip and would like some more details, please contact the church office as soon as possible on 01684 833152.
Activities include a visit to Westminster Abbey, the Sealife Centre and St Paul’s Cathedral.
