I HEARTILY agree with the sentiments expressed by L Clark (letters, August 24).
I have recently started walking my dog on North Hill and enjoyed the freedom of roaming over numerous paths and also the spectacular views.
Both these joys have been abruptly curtailed and a huge area is surrounded by an electric fence to enclose sheep.
Surely some consideration could have been given to humans and maybe the other side of North Hill could have been used.
Unfortunately I cannot talk to my dog and explain that he must not go near an electric fence and so he remains on the lead. Not much of a walk, then.
Unfortunately I and every Malvern resident have paid for this appalling folly through council taxes.
