AS the jubilee fast aproches Alfrick and Lulsley are a hive of activity.
You can hear the sound of voices singing and the sound of mowers racing around the gardens.
The community choir prepare for their concert on June 2 at Alfrick village hall. 7.30pm start tickets £10 to include a two-course supper tickets available from 01886 833903.
The resedents of Alfrick and Lulsley are busy preparing their gardens for Aspects Of Alfrick.Ten gardens will be open for the public to look around on Monday, June 4, from11am-5pm.
The village hall will also be open serving ploughmans lunches and afternoon teas. The cost £5 for entrance to all gardens. For more information phone 011886 832659 The Fox and Hounds at Lulsley is also hosting its annual beer festival the bank holiday weekend June 1-5, to include live music and food and, of course, beer.
