I AM the co-coordinator of the Malvern Hills Garden Share Scheme.
The scheme aims to link people who have garden space they cannot use with people who would like to have the chance to grow their own vegetables, but who do not have a suitable garden; usually there is an understanding that some of the crops will be shared.
There are currently two garden owners seeking people to share their gardens.
One is in Ledbury, where there are two raised beds and the use of a shed for storage of tools. The growing space is very peaceful and has a table and chair for relaxation.
The other is in Hanley Swan, with beds that have been used for vegetable growing. There is also storage space and access to water.
The owner is keen to give an opportunity to someone who wants to grow organically.
I would be happy to hear from others who would either like to share their garden or those who want to have the chance to ‘grow their own’ and would be happy to do so by sharing someone else's garden.
