MUSIC lovers enjoyed a day of top tunes as a new jazz festival was held in the town for the first time.
Organised by Len Thwaites, chairman of the town’s longrunning Abbey Jazz club, the first Malvern Jazz Festival welcomed a host of top names to Malvern Rugby Club in Spring Lane.
David Robins, president of the rugby club, said the day was a success.
“ E v e r y b o d y enjoyed it and said that the organisation and the music were absolutely first class,” he said.
