RAMBLERS from near and far will be in town this weekend for the Malvern Walking Festival.
Running until Sunday, June 3, the festival includes an all-new five-day discovery walk, running from Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds and back to Malvern.
Another popular walk is the Malvern Hills End-to-End, and in response to public demand, organisers have this year made it a double event with a staggered start.
Challenges for serious walkers include the 18-mile Malvern Hills End-to-End Both Ways, and the complete 31 miles of the Worcestershire Way in just one day.
However, the programme also includes plenty of less strenuous walks for more sedate walkers.
Organiser Ray Roberts said: “We’ve had a lot of interest, and we’re hoping for decent weather to make it a success.”
