A MAN suffered a dislocated collar bone after he was assaulted in the early hours in Malvern.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened between 2.30am and 3am on Sunday, May 6.
The victim, aged 20, was walking along Graham Road with his girlfriend when he was approached head-on by a man who pushed him firmly by the shoulder. The victim then fell to the ground, injuring his collarbone.
PC Danian Lowe said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack in which the victim required hospital treatment to re-set his collar bone.
“The offender is described as a white man, in his late 20s or early 30s, with short hair and of a stocky build.
He was wearing a dark top and jeans.
“This assault happened over the Bank Holiday weekend and there were lots of festivities in the town on the Saturday. People returning home from a night out in Malvern in the early hours of the following morning may have witnessed this incident and I would urge them to get in touch.”
Anyone with information can call PC Lowe on 0300 3333000, quoting 138S 060512 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
