There seems to have been a lot said about Malvern Town FC recently in the Gazette.
No, I’m not going to knock the clubs nor the contributors of these letters as I feel that debate is healthy and important.
Messrs Harding and Goodwin’s points about the club failing are fair, but these gentlemen need to realise that Malvern Town has been a small community club for the bulk of its life.
Also I like the comments made by Messrs Hepworth and Bray about how good the club is to its community, but I do think that more needs to be done to market the club in the town. Maybe it’s best if we all agreed to disagree and look forward to the new season – hopefully we can get some good pre-season games at Langland against Evesham, Halesowen, Worcester, Redditch and Stourport etc.
