A NEW addition to a Worcestershire school really puts the ‘green’ into greenhouse – because it is constructed entirely of recycled plastic bottles.
The new eco greenhouse at Upton Primary School has been created with the assistance of Upton in Bloom and local business L.T. & R Vowles Ltd and on Friday and residents were invited to a garden party to get a closer look.
Upton’s mayor Andrea Morgan declared the greenhouse officially open, and headteacher Julie Wills said: “We would like to thank everyone in the community who helped turn our eco greenhouse plan into a reality.
She added: “We’re delighted with the finished result and look forward to inspiring the gardeners of the future at Upton Primary School.”
