THE Jubilee Ball being hosted by Malvern mayor Ian Hopwood had to find a new venue after the company which owns the Bank House in Bransford went into liquidation.
The ball, originally set for Friday, June 1, will now be held later in the month at the Abbey Hotel, Malvern.
Coun Hopwood said: "Malvern Town Council has to protect the people and sponsors who have supported this event.
"At this point I wish to state that the staff at the Bank House has been very helpful with the arrangements and I wish them all the best for the future.
"I have arranged an alternative venue for the Jubilee Ball and I hope all those who have already booked will be able to transfer their bookings. The new venue is the Abbey Hotel on June 23."
