HUNDREDS of walkers are expected to take part in the St Richard's Hospice walk on the Malvern Hills next Saturday (May 19).
With routes measuring two miles, five miles and 11 miles, the sponsored event caters for walkers of all ages and fitness levels.
Last year the walk raised more than £25,000 for the hospice, and organisers hope to do as well or better this year.
Hospice fund-raiser Phillippa Jones said: “This walk is a hugely popular event and appeals to all ages. It is great fun for those taking part, but also the money raised make such a big difference.”
The Malvern Sea Cadets will be on hand catering for those who have built up an appetite, and first aiders will support the walkers. There is no entry fee but participants are asked to donate their sponsorship money to St Richard’s.
