A PLANNING application to install security fencing at a disused incinerator near Hanley Swan has been sent to Malvern Hills District Council.
The application has been made by developer Peter Styles, and includes temporary facilities for contractors.
The application describes the proposals as “enabling work to facilitate refurbishment”
of the incinerator.
Mr Styles also has a application outstanding for the incinerator to be demolished and seven houses built on the site.
And an earlier application for an eco-community of 24 homes is the subject of an undecided planning appeal.
Two weeks ago, Mr Styles's agent Andrew Boughton said that there was interest in reopening the incinerator to burn specialist waste.
