SMALL businesses can learn how to better protect themselves online during a free cybersecurity seminar in Malvern.
West Malvern businesswoman Emma Philpott is holding the seminar at Malvern Hills Science Park at 12.45pm on Thursday, February 9.
Mrs Philpott is managing director of Key IQ, which specialises in the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
She said: “Cyber attacks on businesses, and small companies in particular, are rising.
Unfortunately, an alarming number of companies are unaware and unprepared for computer-based security threats.
“The presentations we’re planning will be understandable to non-technical companies.”
The seminar will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity for networking. For more details or to book a place, visit key-iq.com.
