start at Upton library with a wide variety of workshops and courses taking place over the next few weeks.
On Monday there will be free paediatric first aid between from 9.30am to 11.30am.
This is being run by Riverboats Children’s Centre and Swim-Masters and will teach how to deal with accidents and emergencies involving young children.
Between this Monday and Friday, February 17, there will be free courses running for people needing help with basic computer skills. Anyone keen to take part should contact the library to arrange a suitable appointment.
There will also be two computer workshops running on Friday, February 3.
The first, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, will focus on e-mailing and the second, from 1pm to 4pm is about internet searching. Each costs £19.50.
