IN Response to Diana Beetlestone’s letter. Sainsbury’s changed the plans for the store based on consumer recommendations received in the consultation period.
You can also see plainly on the plans that there will be a screen of trees between the residents of Bronte Drive and the store.
I never knew that having Christmas shoppers flocking to Ledbury would be such a problem – perhaps we should build gates across all the roads leading into Ledbury and when a cetain number of cars have gone through turn the rest away.
As to the petrol, I seem to remember for a number of years Ledbury only had one petrol station when Parkway closed. I didn’t see queues of traffic then, did you?
Residents of Ledbury, I call on you to support this application from Sainsbury’s. Let us have 200-plus jobs and more choice.
Ledbury has survived other “doomsday”
prophecies. Don’t be fooled by the spin and propaganda.
