ON Sunday, May 8, Parish Communion will be celebrated at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.

On Thursday, May 12 there will be two separate meetings in Bosbury Parish Hall. In the Committee Room, at 7.30pm, Bosbury and Coddington Parish Council will hold their regular Council meeting,at which It is hoped to co-opt two new Councillors for Bosbury and one Councillor for Coddington.

In the main Hall, Bosbury WI will meet to discuss resolutions for the WI Conference, after which Brenda Drake, will talk about the work of ACWW – Associated Country Women of the World. Visitors are welcome.

On Friday, May 13, Flicks in the Sticks will show The King’s Speech, starring Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. Doors open at 7.15pm for 7.30pm, tickets £4.

On Saturday, May 14, from 2pm to 4pm at Bosbury Parish Hall, Bosbury WI will hold a May Fair. Cream teas will be served. There will be lots of stalls – plants, cakes, crafts, – and, at 3pm, a Fairtrade Fashion parade. There will be two competitions, open to everyone, 1) A loaf of Home Baked Bread (no machines), 2) A Photo 6” x 4”, subject - Animal/s. Herefordshire Growing Point will receive a donation from proceeds.

Bosbury Educational Foundation still invites applications to rent a property in Bosbury on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy. It is a black and white cottage on the main street, with accommodation comprising of a sitting room, kitchen/diner, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a long garden with a parking space to the rear. The rent will be in the region of £500 a month and the cottage should be available shortly.
