THE meeting held on April 7, was very well attended. President Sarah Cowell welcomed visitors and a new member before the usual business, which included a report from Pam Bevan on entries in the Creative Activities competition at the Annual Council Meeting.
Unfortunately, the speaker for the evening, had to cancel at short notice but Sarah kept members amused by encouraging them to get creative with glue and sparkles, and organising a quiz, which was entered into with great competitive spirit.
The next meeting, which will be held at St.Andrews Church Hall, on Thursday, May 5 at 7.30pm, is the Resolution Meeting, when the two chosen resolutions for this year will be discussed. Members are hoping to make the meeting interesting, and also have some fun, so come along and join in.
